Ukrnafta gives bidders from 8 countries until March to examine 21 oil and gas fields

Ukrainian state gas extractor Ukrnafta has received offers from 25 foreign and domestic companies to form partnerships to help develop 21 oil and gas fields in Ukraine and will extend a deadline to March 1 so they can finish examining the sites.

Bidders include several international consortia, with firms from seven European and North American nations as well as domestic firms, Ukrnafta said in a press release. The interested companies mainly consist of professional investors, oil services firms and consultancies.
