EU study urges stronger incentives to bring multinationals into Ukraine's reconstruction

The European Union should launch an initiative to help Ukraine attract major international companies by combining targeted investment incentives with stronger de-risking measures, according to a new report by the European Union Institute for Security Studies (EUISS).

The proposed "Big on Board" initiative aims to mobilize the capital and implementation capacity of large multinational companies, which the authors argue will be indispensable for rebuilding Ukraine's infrastructure, modernizing its economy and integrating it into global value chains.
