Ukraine's ARX signs reinsurance deal with DFC to cover homes, business property against Russian missile attacks

Ukraine's ARX Insurance has started offering coverage for property against missile and drone attacks in Ukraine with a reinsurance contract with the US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC).

The insurer, a subsidiary of Canadian insurer Fairfax Group, is using the DFC reinsurance to help it cover property at least 100 kms from the front line for damages of up to 100 million hryvnias ($2.5 million) per object, said ARX Deputy CEO Maksim Mezhebitsky.
