Exclusive: 60 Finnish companies take first steps toward business in Ukraine as hope for peace grows, special envoy says

Some 60 privately owned Finnish companies have applied so far to the government's Finnpartnership program that helps them get ready to invest in Ukraine, said Antti Vänskä, Finland's special envoy to the reconstruction of Ukraine. And that number is set to grow.

"The interest of Finnish companies towards Ukraine is increasing constantly," Vänskä said in an interview with Ukraine Rebuild Newswire. "A lot depends on what's happening in Ukraine, and exactly at this moment, there's a waiting mood connected with the larger geopolitical situation."
