Russian court increases penalty for Ukraine's Naftogaz to $1.3 billion for breaching Gazprom litigation ban, Interfax reports

 A Russian court has increased a financial penalty against the Ukrainian state oil and gas company Naftogaz to $1.3 billion from around $150 million for violating a ban on conducting legal proceedings against Gazprom outside of Russia, in a gas transit dispute between the two companies, Russian news agency Interfax reported on Wednesday.
