Knauf secures 20-year license to extract gypsum at deposit in Ukraine's Ternopil region

German company Knauf won the auction for a 20-year special permit for gypsum extraction at the Skoviatynske deposit in Ternopil region in Ukraine.

The State Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine held the auction, which attracted two bidders, with Knauf offering UAH 121.05 million ($2.87 million), while the second bidder Kamianets-Podilskyi offered UAH 120.55.
