US entitled to Ukraine's revenue from some resources under proposed economic partnership, Treasury Secretary says

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told Fox Business that a blueprint of an economic partnership deal he presented to Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday anticipates that the US has the right to revenue Ukraine is already receiving from some resources.

Bessent presented the draft document on the bilateral economic partnership between Ukraine and the US to Zelensky during his visit to Kyiv. The partnership is tied to US President Donald Trump's earlier proposal that Ukraine give the US access to its rare earth minerals in exchange for military aid.
