Trump proposes Ukraine supply rare earth minerals in exchange for US war aid

US President Donald Trump said on Monday that he wants Ukraine to provide the United States with rare earth minerals as compensation for US financial support in its war against Russia.

Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump said he wanted to see some "equalization" from Ukraine for Washington's "close to $300 billion" in support.
