US wants Ukraine to hold elections after ceasefire, Trump envoy says

US wants Kyiv to hold elections within the coming months once a ceasefire deal with Moscow is concluded, US President Donald Trump's special envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, told Reuters in an interview.

Kellogg stressed that presidential and parliamentary elections in Ukraine — which have been suspended during the war — "need to be done."
