Ukraine seeks changes to new US economic deal, more investments, sources say

Ukraine plans to request modifications to US President Donald Trump's expanded economic deal proposal, including a commitment for increased US investment, an unnamed source familiar with the matter told Bloomberg.

A draft proposal reviewed by Bloomberg suggests granting Washington control over all major future infrastructure and mineral investments in Ukraine, including in mining, oil and gas, critical mineral extraction, as well as ports, roads, and railways — without a set time limit.
