Ukraine parliament approves purchase of 2 Russian nuclear reactors from Bulgaria

Ukraine's parliament has voted in favor of a bill allowing state-owned nuclear energy operator Energoatom to buy two Russian-made nuclear reactors from Bulgaria to expand Ukraine's Khmelnytskyi nuclear power plant (NPP).

The bill passed with 261 votes in favor in the 450-seat parliament, Ukrainian lawmaker Yaroslav Zheleznyak said in a post on Telegram.
