Finland to fund €2 million environmental damage assessment of Ukrainian water resources

Kyiv's ministry of environmental protection and natural resources and Finland's Environment Institute (SYKE) have allocated €2 million for conducting an environmental damage assessment and monitoring of water quality and biodiversity in Ukraine.

The Finnish ministry of foreign affairs will fund the project, which will run from 2025 to 2028.
