Ukraine could import as much as 4 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas between April and October as it looks to compensate for production losses amid Russian attacks on the country's gas infrastructure, Dmytro Lyppa, the CEO of LLC Gas TSO of Ukraine, the country's gas transmission system operator, told Reuters in an interview.

Up to half of the gas imported via Europe would come as LNG delivered to European terminals in Germany, Greece, Lithuania, and Poland rather than pipeline gas, and as much of this as possible could come from the US, according to Lyppa.
