Trump's election could end war in Ukraine 'sooner,' Zelensky says

Donald Trump's election victory could lead to an earlier-than-expected end to the war in Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview with Ukrainian state broadcaster Suspilne.

"I think the war will end, and not abstractly," Zelensky said. "There is no exact date, but with the policies of the team that will now lead the White House, the war will end sooner. This is their approach, a promise to their society."
