Russia, Ukraine agree to maritime, energy ceasefires, White House says

The US said on Tuesday it has reached agreements with Russia and Ukraine for a ceasefire in the Black Sea as well as for the two countries to halt attacks on energy infrastructures.

The White House said the US and Russia, as well as separately the US and Ukraine, "have agreed to ensure safe navigation, eliminate the use of force, and prevent the use of commercial vessels for military purposes in the Black Sea."
