Oschadbank, Energy Company of Ukraine partner to support lending to communities for energy projects

Ukraine's state-owned Oschadbank and the energy trading firm Energy Company of Ukraine (ECU), also state-owned, have established a joint program to make it easier to lend to and implement new energy projects in Ukraine's local communities.

The ECU will analyze the economic and technical aspects of community-led projects seeking funding. It will also provide communities with market-based tools to enhance the economic efficiency and sustainability of these projects, such as collaboration in self-production mechanisms and forming aggregated and balancing groups.
