Norway to provide $5.5 million for solar plants in Ukraine's Kharkiv

The Norwegian government said on Thursday it will provide $5.5 million in funding for the installation of 13 solar power plants in Ukraine's northeastern city of Kharkiv through the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The solar power plants will be installed at eight hospitals and five schools in Kharkiv this year, providing an overall capacity of 1.1 MW with energy storage systems totaling 2.3 MWh.
