Italy and UNEP sign €2 million tech transfer accord to boost Ukraine's energy sustainability

The Italian embassy in Kyiv have signed an agreement with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) to launch a €2 million project to strengthen energy sustainability of Ukrainian cities.

The fund, which is provided by Italy, aims to support Ukraine's recovery towards a more decentralized and sustainable energy system. The project is in line with the "Build Back Better" principle, which aims to increase efficiency and security.
