France, UK work to finalize Ukraine peace plan 'in days,' sources say

France and the UK are working to finalize a peace plan with Ukraine, potentially "in days," to present to the US, while also fostering stronger ties between the US and Ukraine ahead of a possible trip to Washington, Reuters reported on Wednesday, citing unnamed diplomats.

"We're looking at putting this plan together in days and not weeks," one senior European diplomat told Reuters. A second European diplomat said the goal was to have everything in place, including a healthier dialogue between Washington and Kyiv while emphasizing to the US that Russia was the aggressor.
