EIB subscribes to €2.2 billion of bonds issued by Poland's BGK to support Ukrainian refugees, legal advisor says

The European Investment Bank (EIB) has subscribed to €2.236 billion of five tranches of bonds issued by Poland's Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) to support Ukrainian refugees, said the legal advisor on the transaction, A&O Shearman.

Proceeds from the bond issuances have funded the Aid Fund, established by the Polish government to support Ukrainian refugees in Poland.
