EIB approves €6.8 billion for energy investments in Ukraine, other countries

The European Investment Bank (EIB) said on Wednesday it has approved a total of €6.8 billion for energy investments in Ukraine and a number of other countries.

The portion of the funding for Ukraine — the size of which was not disclosed — will be used for urgent energy infrastructure reinforcement and repair.
