DTEK Energy invested $260 million in overhaul of thermal power plants and mines in 2024

DTEK Energy, a thermal power engineering arm of Ukraine's largest private power producer DTEK, said it had invested an estimated UAH 11 billion ($260 million) of its own funds in the restoration of thermal power plants (TPPs) and the operation of mines in 2024.

By the end of 2024, DTEK Energy invested over UAH 3 billion in repairing and restoring TPPs, which led to the restoration of more than half of TPPs capacities damaged during the Russian attacks in spring and summer.
