Astarta to invest $76 million to build new seed crushing plant in western Ukraine

Astarta, the Ukrainian agro-industrial holding company, announced plans to invest $76 million to build a multi-seed crushing facility in the western Ukrainian region of Khmelnytsky.

The plant, slated to be commissioned next year, will be able to process 400,000 tons of oilseeds a year, including rapeseeds and soybeans, the company said in a media statement.
