ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih to boost capex by 19% to $155 million in 2024

ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine's largest steel producer, plans to increase capital expenditures by 19% to $155 million this year despite the ongoing war, said the company's acting general director, Olena Bizyaeva.

Bizyaeva announced the increase, from the $130 million capex budget in 2023, during a visit by Ukrainian Economy Minister Yulia Svyrydenko to Kryvyi Rih, the home city of President Volodymyr Zelensky and to the country's biggest steel plant.
