Veon signs business combination deal with Cohen Circle to list Kyivstar on Nasdaq

Telecoms group Veon said on Tuesday it has signed a business combination agreement with special purpose acquisition company Cohen Circle that will result in the listing of Ukraine's leading digital operator, Kyivstar, on Nasdaq.

Veon will own a minimum of 80% of the issued and outstanding equity in Kyivstar following the closing of the agreement, according to a press release. The deal, expected to close in Q3, is subject to shareholder approvals and other customary closing conditions.
