Veon signs deal with Airspan to collaborate on air-to-land network solutions aiding Ukraine

Veon said it has signed a memorandum of understanding with a US-based provider of Open RAN solutions and network infrastructure Airspan Networks Holdings.

The partnership will focus on developing, deploying, and testing network solutions designed to strengthen communications infrastructure in extreme conditions, according to Veon. By leveraging advanced wireless technologies like Open RAN and air-to-land network solutions, this collaboration aims to enhance resilience and connectivity.
