US DFC establishes full-time presence in Kyiv, boosts exposure to Ukraine by 50% since Russian invasion

The US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) has established a full-time presence in Kyiv with a staffer moving into the US Embassy and will strengthen that presence soon, a senior agency official said.

"We have a presence at the embassy since January, which is new for the DFC, where we have an ongoing person on the ground and we'll supplement that as we go forward," said John Moran, senior adviser to the chief cooperating officer at DFC. "That's because there are deals to be done and being done as well as risks to be addressed."
