Kinsgpan, the multinational building materials manufacturer, aims to build up to seven factories in a single manufacturing campus in western Ukraine in the next two years and roll out its first Made-in-Ukraine products by 2026 for both the local market and export, a company official told Ukraine Rebuild Newswire.

The company plans to kick off local manufacturing with its flagship insulated panels and the products from its Logstor products for energy-efficient district heating, an essential component in decarbonising the energy system, said Mike Stenson, who's managing the project for Kingspan. All other Kingspan products will be made there soon after.

Kingspan caught the investing world's attention by announcing plans for a €280 million direct investment in Ukraine just months after the full-scale Russian invasion of February 2022. Little detail was publicly known of the plans, however, until now.
