London-based insurance broker McGill and Partners has developed an AI-powered war risk reinsurance facility for commercial property in Ukraine, This is Money reported, citing Hamish Greenwood, head of crisis management at McGill.
The new facility, developed with Ukrainian insurance tech start-up FortuneGuard, uses data on missile strikes to help underwriters assess risks more accurately and offer businesses in Ukraine more affordable premiums, according to the report.
