Ukraine's Economy Ministry is working to adopt an internationally recognised methodology for soil analysis to speed up the return of former battlegrounds to agriculture and other uses, the ministry said.
The government has "engaged scientists from leading Ukrainian universities to build a scientifically based probabilistic model of the transition of potential pollutants into agricultural products," the ministry said in a communique.
