Covid and war left Ukraine with 1.1 nurses per doctor - less than half EU average, study shows

The Covid-19 pandemic, the ongoing war, and the refugee crisis have caused a severe nursing shortage in Ukraine, leaving the country with a nursing density far below the European Union average, according to a study by the World Health Organization.
