Ukraine receives $1.35 billion grant from US for social, humanitarian spending

Ukraine has received a $1.35 billion in grant funding from the US for social and humanitarian expenditures, in particular to ensure the payment of salaries to teachers, Ukraine's Finance Ministry said.

The US government provided the funding through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and in coordination with the departments of Treasury and State, the ministry said in a press release on Wednesday.
