Ukraine is exploring the possibility of establishing a logistics hub for food in Egypt, Ukraine's Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food said on Tuesday.
On behalf of Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Vitaliy Koval and Ukraine's Ambassador to Egypt Mykola Nahornyi studied this option during their visit to the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) in Egypt.
Rohlig SUUS Logistics, one of the largest logistics service providers in Poland, said it has opened a subsidiary in Ukraine, headquartered in Kyiv, as it looks to strengthen its position in Central and Eastern Europe.
The Swiss subsidiary of the world's second-largest container shipping company, MSC, Medlog, has bought stakes in Ukrainian logistics assets, according to reports from Forbes Ukraine. The transaction marks the first deal of its kind with a global logistics company since the full-scale Russian invasion.
