Ukraine changes rules to let foreign construction firms build complex structures such as bridges, hospitals

The Ukrainian government has changed regulations to let foreign companies with offices in Ukraine carry out construction of more complex or sensitive buildings, such as malls, hospitals and factories under a simplified procedure.

Foreign companies with representative offices or separate divisions in Ukraine will be allowed to build structures classified as CC2, or facilities with "medium consequences" or CC3, or structures with "significant consequences." Also, foreign firms no longer need Ukrainian licensing.
