Ukraine kicks off bilateral screening on financial services chapter under EU accession process

Ukraine's government said on Thursday it has launched bilateral screening with the European Union to determine the compliance of the country's legislation with EU law under Chapter 9, Financial Services, as part of its path to accession.

During the meetings between Ukrainian and EU officials on Feb 13 and 14 in Brussels, the Ukrainian delegation is presenting reports on banking and financial conglomerates, financial market infrastructure, securities markets and investment services, insurance, sustainable finance, and digital technologies.
