Ukraine likely to resume flights from an international airport in January

Ukraine is expected to resume operations at Lviv or Boryspil international airports by the end of January 2025, the Kyiv Independent reported on Thursday, citing Marsh McLennan Senior Partner Crispin Ellison.

It would be easier to provide insurance arrangements for aviation if aircraft start flying from Lviv, but Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky insists that Boryspil be the first to open, Ellison said at the 10th Kyiv International Economic Forum.
