Ukraine delays minerals deal with US to let Trump take credit, sources tell NYT

The Ukrainian authorities have postponed signing an agreement to cooperate on extracting and processing minerals with the US to let the incoming Donald Trump administration take the credit for the deal, the New York Times reported, citing unnamed officials from both countries.

The signing of the agreement, initially planned with the Biden administration, was postponed twice, according to the sources.
