Ukraine deeply integrated with EU but missing higher-value industrial opportunities - UNIDO

Ukraine is already closely connected to the European Union's economy, research community, and industrial sector, but it is not yet getting the full benefit of those ties, according to a recent report by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).

The study found that the EU accounts for 62.5% of Ukraine's imports and 63% of its exports in strategic industries, showing that Ukraine's economic integration with Europe is largely a reality today, not just a future goal.
