Ukraine carried out 18 of 31 recommendations to fight graft, CoE anti-corruption body says

Ukraine has made progress in its efforts to prevent corruption among judges, prosecutors and members of parliament despite the "extremely difficult" wartime conditions, the Council of Europe's anti-corruption group body has found in its latest report.

The country has carried out 18 of Greco's 31 recommendations, including changes to better supervise financial declaration requirements of officials, regulate lawmakers' relationships with lobbyists and streamline the process of appointing judges, said the Group of States Against Corruption (Greco).
