Ukraine’s reconstruction is often discussed as a vast undertaking that will take off when the war ends. But for Sweco, the international engineering consultancy, Ukraine is already one of its largest markets.
Ukraine is now among Sweco International’s four largest markets by revenue and ranks higher still by order intake, according to Tina Karlberg, president of Sweco International. She attributes the growth to increased Nordic and Swedish funding for Ukraine during the war.
“We can see that it is growing still,” Karlberg told Ukraine Rebuild Newswire in an interview. Sweco aims to respond to every request that falls within its expertise, she added.
