The Ukrainian government has allocated 3 billion hryvnias ($78 million) to compensate farmers who pay to demine their properties, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.

The allocation, which is a third more than the 2 billion hryvnias originally planned, will cover 80% of the cost of demining for farmers who procure demining services, Shmyhal said at a government meeting.
