Trump says US to sign minerals deal with Ukraine shortly

US President Donald Trump said on Thursday the US will soon sign a minerals deal with Ukraine amid his administration's efforts to end the war between Russia and Ukraine.

"We're doing very well with regard to Ukraine and Russia. And one of the things we are doing is signing a deal very shortly with respect to rare earths with Ukraine," Trump said after signing an order to raise the production of critical minerals in the US.
