Trump calls for 'immediate' ceasefire in Ukraine

US President-elect Donald Trump on Sunday called for an "immediate" ceasefire in Ukraine and the launch of peace negotiations.

Trump made the remark after a meeting with Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky on Saturday in Paris, where the leaders were attending a ceremony marking the reopening of the Notre-Dame cathedral.
