Switzerland expects to launch its first public tenders for Ukraine reconstruction projects in early 2027, initially focusing on energy, public transport and water infrastructure, the country's State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) told Ukraine Rebuild Newswire.

"The first procurements are expected to be launched in early 2027 and published on Switzerland's public procurement platform SIMAP," SECO said in an email to URN.

Switzerland and Ukraine are working together to assess reconstruction needs and identify priority projects.
