Russia says it captured Kurakhove logistics hub in Ukraine's Donetsk

The Russian forces said they have captured the "important logistics hub" of Kurakhove in eastern Ukraine's Donetsk region.

The capture of the key industrial town Kurakhove would deprive Ukraine of "the ability of shelling peaceful residents of Donetsk … with artillery systems," said the Russian forces in a press release.
