Russia continued a wave of missile and drone attacks for a second day Tuesday, killing at least four people and prompting widespread power outages as it targeted Ukraine's energy infrastructure, local authorities said.

Several explosions rocked the Kyiv area as the attacks continued overnight and into Tuesday morning.

This latest assault follows an air attack on Ukraine on Monday that officials said was the biggest since the full-scale invasion began in February 2022, possibly as Russian revenge for Ukraine's ongoing incursion into western Russia.
