Romania's Transport and Infrastructure Minister Sorin Grindeanu said on Tuesday that the country's Black Sea port of Constanta should become a main logistics hub for Ukraine's reconstruction, as quoted by local news agency Agerpres.
Speaking at a press conference at the port, Grindeanu said US involvement in the reconstruction of Ukraine is necessary, adding that the US also has an interest in having a "favorable environment" at the Port of Constanta.
Rohlig SUUS Logistics, one of the largest logistics service providers in Poland, said it has opened a subsidiary in Ukraine, headquartered in Kyiv, as it looks to strengthen its position in Central and Eastern Europe.
The Swiss subsidiary of the world's second-largest container shipping company, MSC, Medlog, has bought stakes in Ukrainian logistics assets, according to reports from Forbes Ukraine. The transaction marks the first deal of its kind with a global logistics company since the full-scale Russian invasion.
