Netherlands Enterprise Agency awards €4 million grant for construction of 400 bio-based houses in Ukraine

The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) has awarded a €4 million grant to a consortium of Rawblox, Hempire UA, and OpenDoorUkraine.NL for the construction of 400 bio-based, circular houses in Ukraine over the next four years.

The 60 sqm houses will be based on hybrid straw and hemp technologies and will be built for Ukrainian rural families affected by the war with Russia, with the project expected to start on May 1.
