Kyivstar agrees to buy Ukraine's ride hailing business Uklon for $155 million

Veon's Kyivstar, the Ukrainian telecoms operator, has signed a deal to buy Ukraine's ride-hailing and delivery platform Uklon for $155.2 million.

Uklon operates in 27 cities across Ukraine and in 2024 facilitated more than 100 million rides and over 3 million deliveries, Veon said in a press release on Thursday. In 2023, Uklon has entered the deliveries business and expended its operations into Uzebkistan.
