Kyiv hosts Western leaders as war with Russia enters fourth year

More than a dozen Western leaders arrived in Ukraine's capital of Kyiv on Monday to mark three years since the start of the Russian invasion in an act of solidarity with the war-torn country amid tensions with the US whose senior officials haven't participated in the visit.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, European Council President António Costa, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, Finish President Alexander Stubb, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre were among those who visited Kyiv.
